To View a List of Available Custom Costs
The Custom Costs view lists the various custom costs in the database and any private custom costs you have created. The list includes each item's ID, name, owner, type (public or private), and cost. The Custom Costs view is displayed by selecting the Custom Costs command on the Go menu or by clicking either the Custom Costs folder in the Folder List or the Custom Costs shortcut on the Bentley OpenUtilities Designer Shortcut Bar.
In the Custom Costs view, you can access the Custom Cost Properties dialog box for a particular custom cost when you want to view or modify its properties. For information about assigning a custom cost to a design, see Using the Units Catalog.
Custom Costs view
- From the Go menu, choose Custom Costs to display the Custom Costs view.
- Or, with the Units folder expanded in the Folder List, click the Custom Costs folder in the Folder List.
- Or click the Custom Costs shortcut on the Bentley OpenUtilities Designer Shortcut Bar.
- To view or modify the information for the custom cost, select the item, point to Open on the File menu, and then click Custom Cost to open the Custom Cost Properties dialog box.
- Or right-click the item and choose Properties from the shortcut menu.
- Or double-click the item.
